You read that headline correctly. Right now, as we speak, the demo of UFC 2009: Undisputed is available for download on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network

The demo allows you to play as either Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell or Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, recreating their UFC 97 bout from last Saturday, or completely change the outcome. Since I'm an “Iceman” fan through and through I'll be smashing Rua's face into the mat over and over again, much like in this cam video below from gametrailers.com. This is what you have to look forward to when you close your browser and go and download this game.

In addition to this there is a mess of new video features out, including one on the clinch game, one of George St. Pierre and Dana White battling each other, a very lengthy 2 part interview with Producer Nevin Dravinski who will walk you through how to play the game (I suggest watching this if you're getting whooped playing the demo). In short, there's so much video to watch it's not funny.

Watch the videos after the jump before heading to XBL or PSN and checking out the demo, then check back tomorrow for my impressions.

Clinch game tutorial

Anyone who watches mixed martial arts knows fights can be won and lost inside the clinch. The video above shows how flexible and layered the clinch game is in Undisputed and how it will be vital to master it if you plan to win fights online.
