Disney Interactive is probably the last name you would think of when it comes to wild action racing games, but Split/Second is there second entry into the genre. Black Rock Studios' first title under Disney was PURE, an action packed ATV racing game, which took home awards for best racer at E3 2008 from GameCritics, Gametrailers, and IGN. And, Split/Second looks like it won't disappoint at this year's E3.

Watching the trailer makes me feel as if I was watching a race directed by Michael Bay. The crazy explosions, falling buildings, and instant course changes make the game seem like it will be a challenging thrill ride the whole way through. The gameplay will probably resemble Burnout or Ridge Racer, but the insanity that occurs around and on the race track should bring a new edge to the game. It definitely sounds like a great time to me.
Hopefully, Split/Second will be playable at this years E3, and I'll be able to give a more in depth preview of the game. However, all we have right now is this early released E3 trailer.
