Starting October 12, Nintendo will release a new Wii Sports Resort bundle that includes two Wii Motion Plus accessories instead of one. This limited edition package will cost $59.99. The original Wii Sports Resort cost $49.99 but only came with one Motion Plus. Individually, Motion Pluses cost $19.99, so this is a good deal (essentially you get $10 off, for you math challenged readers out there).

This is a no brainier for Nintendo. Wii Sports Resort is all about playing with friends or family so the inclusion of two Motion Pluses makes sense. It should add extra incentive for a purchase of Resort. Considering that the game came out early summer, this limited edition should give the title another sales boost.

Now Wii owners will have the chance to get everything they need to play Resort with a friend, where the game excels, in one neat purchase. If you haven’t gotten a hold of this title yet, October 12 would be a good time to pick it up. Then you’ll have everything you need to sword duel your buddy with nearly 1 to 1 accuracy.

If you own a Wii but not Wii sports Resort, this bundle is highly recommended and you can read our review of it here. Even if you are ambivalent about the game (I’m sure somebody in your family will love at least some of it), you still get two cheap Motion Plus accessories, which will likely be used in future Wii games.
