"A brutally frank, no-holds barred documentary about the life of former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson won standing ovations from critics and audiences at the Cannes film festival," reads a recent Times Online report.

"I've never experienced anything like this in my whole career," said Tyson. "I'm an athlete and this is totally out of my field here  -- it's kind of intimidating."

The documentary, directed by James Toback, chronicles Tyson's downward spiraling lifestyle after once being a multi-time world heavyweight champion. That lifestyle, which led to his 1992 conviction for raping an 18-year-old beauty pageant contestant, has cost him more than $300 million over the last decade.
