UFC 100 delivered. It was a historic event for the largest MMA company in the world, the UFC. 100 pay-per-view events is incredible when you think back to where this sport started. Once deemed "human cockfighting", MMA has become a bonified sport that the US and the whole world are embracing. Unfortunately, certain actions at UFC 100 could threaten the development and perception of the UFC.
Former WWE superstar, Brock Lesnar faced off with Frank Mir to unify the heavyweight titles. It was an incredibly one sided, violent beat down. Frank Mir is no slouch and an incredible fighter. Lesnar made him look amateur. He used his massive size and strength to neutralize everything Mir threw his way (which wasn't much), consistently took him to the ground and pound the hell out of him. It was no surprise when the ref had to step in and stop the fight at 1:48 of the second round. Mir had been bloodied and battered to the point of unconsciousness. Unfortunately, Lesnar reverted back to roid-monkey WWE tactics rather than be a man.
Brock's behavior after winning this fight was despicable. He immediately taunted Mir, while Frank was still bloodied and trying to figure out where he was. The crowd rightfully started booing. A normal human being would have realized their error and calmed down right? Not Captain Douche Bag. Lesnar immediately ran around the ring flipping the middle finger to the crowd. To take it one step further, in his post fight interview with Joe Rogan, Lesnar insulted Bud Light. Dana White and Budweiser must've loved having the major sponsor be insulted on the biggest night of the company.
Lesnar should be ashamed. Dana White better sign Fedor Emelianenko right after his August 1 fight for Affliction so Brock can get the beating he deserves.

Tonight is UFC 98 on pay-per-view and GamePro Sports will be live blogging as the action unfolds in front of our eyes. MMA fans can share their thoughts on the fights with each other as well as me as the fights happen. UFC 2009: Undisputed also came out this week and many, including myself, are completely obsessed with this game. I've heard many complaints from folks that while the game is incredibly fun, it's also ridiculously difficult. So far, so good for me, I'm 13-7-1 in my career which I'm playing on advanced difficulty so if you're having some problems perhaps I can give you some advice.
