That's right, we've got some intrablog gaming going on.
Earlier this week, I sent out a Street Fighter 4 challenge to the X Best Friends Forever(XBFF). They quickly accepted, however, the fight had to be postponed due to XBFF Joe running out of town for the week. I'm sure it was due to fear. Rest assured, the match is still on and will either be streamed live, posted on youtube, or possibly both to increase the level of humiliation via the intertubes. As of now, we don't have a date or time set, but we should have it locked soon; we'll keep you posted. I hope you're ready for this XBFF.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to get back to my training...
UFC 2009: Undisputed has won countless Editor's Choice awards from various gaming critics, but trying to play it online has been a nightmare as well as a major turn-off for many -- well not for long. A little more then a month ago the interwebs was on fire with virtual MMA talk, but quickly after fans -- including me -- completed the first 5-year career with their created fighter, the chatter seemingly disapeared over night. That's because online play is the laggiest we've seen from a game in a very long time. Combine that with player's frequently quitting matches and the fun quickly turns to frustration.

The day has finally arrived. UFC 2009 has officially hit stores, and it does not disappoint. MMA finally has an answer to the hugely successful Fight Night series. EA's series may have a successful and storied history, but THQ has put an incredible amount of effort into UFC 2009 and has truely launched a franchise that can compete in the big ring of next-gen fighting games -- whether it's four sided or eight.
Boxing has the Fight Night series. WWE has their Smackdown vs Raw series. The UFC has had nothing to brag about when it came to video games, until now.
