After a brief stint of pretending I knew what I was doing in film school, I moved out to Los Angeles only to be proven further that I knew absolutely nothing about film. While remaining here in sunny California, I realized many things that will stick with me for the rest of my life: 1. Diet Coke, soy lattes, and avacados are a staple of movie executives who never actually went to film school yet are in charge of greenlighting motion pictures. 2. When in doubt, just say you love the Big Lebowski. It's an easy conversation starter. 3. No one really knows anything out here. (so what did I go to college for?)
